This large new Mosque in North London was completely refurbished, and a much better sound quality was required by the Chairman, so that prayer readings could be heard clearly throughout the mosque. The Mosque is also used for many local community meetings and lectures with people attending from all around the world. Audiences of over 2000 people have been known to try to see the meetings.

 

Shaun Murkett Acoustic Consultants Ltd were called in to investigate and commissioned to test the sound system and give professional technical advice with detailed recommendations to improve the sound quality.

The professional sound test was made with our experienced team, including Muslim sound engineers and consultants, and speech intelligibility tests indicated only minor adjustments were needed, and well within the budget.

 

Follow up sound tests were also made, and confirmed that our recommendations were successful, with a good clear sound all over the rooms. The Chairman and the Imam were very happy with the results. The Mosque is now all ready for a new set of lectures and visiting Imams, with good sound quality for the people attending.
