The Mascara Bar in Hackney has been running now for over ten years with an eclectic mix of live music, comedy and dancing. This venue is very well known on the London live music scene.

 

Shaun Murkett Acoustics have been involved in all the licensing and planning issues since the outset.  We worked well with the owner on her previous late night music bar, with noise reports and licence issues, and she was happy with our work. So she came back to us again as experienced Licensing Consultants, to get the extended hours and the licensed area increased for Mascara Bar.

 

We successfully managed to get 3am hours granted on the Premises Licence, an additional front beer garden added to the licenced area, and just recently a rear beer garden added.

 

This late-night music bar has been a very successful venue with a gradual and steady expansion of the hours and area, and therefore a substantial increase in value of the business.

 

The Mascara Bar is now all set for a long hot summer with two outside beer gardens, and a lively music scene inside with late hours to 3am. Good results!
