Club 29 “Yermer Docous”, a world famous nightclub and restaurant, in the old historic part of Antalya on the south coast of Turkey, was well known on the international jet set Mediterranean party scene in the 1990s, with visiting rock stars, celebrities and other very rich customers. This large night club, overlooking the yacht harbour, has some very influential residents in luxury apartments living nearby, and they had concerns about the music noise from the nightclub’s outside dance floor.

 

Shaun Murkett Acoustics, well known to the owner from our successful work in one of his other clubs in Istanbul, were called in to advise, and commissioned to make a full noise survey and to resolve all the problems as quickly as possible. Recommendations were made to improve the sound quality and reduce the music noise disturbance, and these were soon put in place and the club was soon operating without issues, and the residents reassured.

 

Following the success of our work, a grand party was organised for the Turkish Prime Ministers’ wife and friends with star guests, amongst the other VIPs and famous celebrities, and the party continued into the early hours.
