This well known live music venue in North London, had a large powerful loud sound system, with famous bands playing each night, well into the early hours. We had already effectively completed a full Music Noise survey and report for the owners to get the venue through all the relevant permissions at the start, successfully achieving late hours with a large capacity.

 

The owners, responsible operators, took the care and safety of their staff seriously. They were concerned that the high sound levels could be in breach of the Noise at Work Regulations for their staff. The owner, very happy with our previous work, was once again in touch with us.

 

Shaun Murkett Acoustic Consultants Ltd, were commissioned to investigate and undertake a full Noise at Work Assessment with sound tests and a full noise survey for all the staff, and to compile an acoustic report with detailed recommendations to meet all the Legal Regulations.

 

The acoustic report issued to the owners and recommendations implemented. Our report was approved by the Local Authority, the bar management were reassured in the knowledge that the staff were safely protected, all legal regulations were in place, and the bar continued to operate successfully.
