Heartcore is a rapidly expanding group of successful boutique Health Studios providing Pilates, Yoga and exercise sessions in smart locations across London. The latest studio is an old converted church in St Johns Wood, near to luxury flats. The Local Authority were concerned over possible noise issues, and tight conditions were put on the change of use planning permission.

 

Shaun Murkett Acoustic Consultants Ltd, were commissioned by the owner to investigate and issue acoustic reports with detailed recommendations to resolve any noise and vibration issues, and create a comfortable and pleasant “acoustic” for the instructors and clients.

 

Working closely with the Architect and design team, Studio Y2 Architecture and Planning, a comprehensive noise survey was made, and our acoustic reports were soon issued and the recommendations and options discussed and then implemented.

 

The studio is now a beautiful, light and quiet space for the fitness sessions, and our follow up noise reports have cleared the conditions and enabled the new studio to start up safely and successfully. The studio is often fully booked and one of the most popular places for Pilates in London.
