A local property developer needed professional advice on the construction details to use on a proposed conversion from a commercial warehouse to residential live-work units. The local authority also had concerns over the noise impact of existing commercial uses in adjoining buildings, and planning permission was withheld until an independent acoustic consultant's report was submitted. The noise survey and report were quickly prepared and included detailed design options to meet all the new document E regulations. This report was soon approved by the local authority and the building completed. The residential flats are now finished to a high quality and are currently up for sale in this popular area of Clerkenwell.
