Chapel Bar

The Chapel Bar is a stylish Islington bar with a relaxed ambience. It is now part of the Punch group, which is one of the largest pub chains in the UK. There were concerns and some formal objections to the renewal of the bar's entertainment license.

Following our noise survey and report, issued within a week, the manager of the bar was able to give immediate instructions to contractors based on the recommendations in the noise report. The soundproofing improvements had long term benefits and enabled the bar to meet all the Local Authority noise criteria,and the renewal of their entertainment licence with the extension of their late night hours was granted.

They have recently completed the refurbishment of the bar and have launched a completely new range of evening entertainment. This is very popular, and has enabled the business to successfully grow, following the investment required to protect the late licence. We liaised with the local authority noise team throughout to actively support the interests of our client. Our professional and diplomatic approach enabled the successful renewal of the licence.
